Let me introduce myself, my name is John Prevost III , D.C. I am from a small city near the southeast side of Michigan, my Alma Mater is Albion College. I graduated in 2018 with a major in exercise science and a minor in communications. In December of 2021 I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida campus with distinction. My passion however is greater than my degrees and has taken me the last 8+ years of mindset training and studying to feel comfortable enough to share this journey publicly (as I continue down this path I must accept that not everyone is going to agree with me and I will be judged regardless of my impact, so heres to attracting like minded people.) My passion is to help others live a life full of potential and I believe that no matter how bad you may think you have it, you are not alone. I never thought that my life would bring me to this moment but I have always had a burning desire for greatness, and I will NOT let myself be the one who stops me… Neither should you. The word Doctor comes from the latin root word Docere, which translates to ‘teacher’. My goal is to teach others about their health and encourage you to become more self sufficient and show you different ways to invest in your own health. I hope to show people that all we ever need is a strong mind, a will to be disciplined and become motivated just enough to become 1/10 of 1% better daily. That is 1/2% better a week, 2% better a month and 26% better each year.. I know what you might be thinking, what the hell does this mean? Sit tight and keep reading! This is of course based off of Brian Tracy’s 1000% Formula in relation to Success. This 1000% formula stems from the law of incremental improvement, getting just a little bit better every day until you reach your destination. Whether it is growing your mind or reaching your fitness goals, we can utilize these laws for our benefit. We can learn how to slowly apply laws like the one mentioned above in order to reach all of our goals with a strategic plan. You don’t always need to know the how but you must always know your why. Why do I want to workout? to maintain function. Why do I want to eat more holistic foods? To feed the body the nutrients it needs for longevity. Why do I want to challenge my perspective and grow a positive mental attitude? To become more resilient to life’s challenges and not succumb to the MICRO-failures we will face. We all want to be healthy, but not all of us are going to be willing to put in the work necessary to obtain and maintain good health. Now you made it this far, what do we do now? we come back tomorrow and try again, though just a little better than yesterday. I will leave you with this call to action, you can do one of three things: 1. Watch this video and apply something from it to your life. 2. Ask yourself this after every experience, “what did I do right? What would I do differently?” 3. Do nothing.
